We contacted Budget Van lines & set up dates for movers & set a price of $1255.52 for the move.
& like everyone else we have almost identical stories except we've yet to receive our items! The movers came at night a day late, no light in truck, since everythingvwe had was packed my husband went to Walmart for a flashlight. They were very reckless, and started asking us did we want to pay by cubic ft or weight. We had very little furniture but a lot of boxes since we sold everything because we were downsizing. Similar all the way around, anyway, the contracted movers are R and L moving systems & we are now terrified we won't receive items at all or damaged! We have contacted FBI, Attorney General for Texas & Virginia & SC. If you have had a problem like us we would love to hear from you. The FBI has informed us that the more complaints the better! We also were informed they are documenting our complaint because this could be considered interstate fraud. We were also told to inform the DA office in Houston where the movers are located. If you would contact us with your story we would love to have some back up so we can get these crooks out of business!
