WARNING; DO NO USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. This is a warning for all commercial or residential real estate professionals and private individuals.
The scheduled cross country move with this company was a nightmare. They lied to me so many times, oops miss-represented themselves,so many times that I have lost track. Warning!!!
I was told my freight would be stored in Virginia awaiting final delivery, It was instead stored in California. They said they have 20 business day to deliver, though the average is 3-7 days. It has been 26 day so far with no confirmed delivery date. Twice in that time period the sales representative gave me a verbal delivery date and was told that a dispatcher would call to confirm, yet they never called. At this point I started asking for an email, something in writing. They would only send a signature with nothing in the heading or body! Plus I was told that the shipping costs would be by weight at a contract predetermined price, yet they are charging me 20 percent more, even the sales representative recommended that I receive a weighed bill of lading from the subcontracted moving company, though there is little I can do at this point as I was forced to sigh the amended contract when the move was 90 percent complete or they were going to unload the truck. I was calling the sales representative during this time but he was not available.Had I known it would of taken close to 40 days to complete the move I would of had them completely unload the truck and went with other moving options.
