DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY AND SPREAD THE WORD TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!
This company is very dishonest. I hired them over a month prior to my move. They dropped the ball completely. They didn't contact me with pick-up time or name of company to ship my belongings. I had to contact them several times just to get the information. They gave me a week window on the estimate for pick-up dates and the still didn't come by that time. I tried contacting managers and customer service and they were very unprofessional and didn't help. After speaking with an alleged manager Darrell Baker he said to me "why can't I just wait for another day for them to get there". When they showed up 2 days later than the last pick-up date given, two small guys opened my storage without taking anything out and tried to double the price quoted. On top of that they wanted to take over my storage and come back the next day after already being 2 days late.
Needless to say I didn't trust them so I hired another company. ABF U-pack came out the next day and worked with us to have a trailer out the following morning and that picked it up later that evening. My belonging were off to Texas with out any problems. I may have to file a lawsuit against Budget Vanlines because the are not willing to give me my deposit back based on there cancellation policy although they violated the terms.
