These guys moved us on the hottest day so far this year and we checked beforehand to make sure they were working and even suggested that we reschedule but they insisted the job could be done. With hindsight, we should have cancelled because this move cost twice as much and only half the job was completed. First they sent one mover and the accountant because several guys didn't report to work. Second before the truck was completely loaded from the first location, one of the movers was puking and this continued at the second location and this all cost us. Furthermore the accountant was not really proficient at moving. When I called the supervisor to report these problems, he questioned why I was the person calling to which I responded that I cared. It became apparent that the company didn't care. I could go on and on but this move ended with them unloading our belongings on the sidewalk at the new apartment because we couldn't afford another $600.00 on top of the almost $1,000.00 on what was estimated to be a $600.00 move. And the five free wardrobe boxes - well we got three extremely used boxes that were so weak they broke before we got our things out and then we had to scramble to pack the remaining clothes. I would strongly not recommend this company as a matter of fact, a colleague just asked if I would recommend this company and I told her not to use them but instead consider the Two Marines and a truck because when we used them in the past and they were much more professional - I wish we would have used them for this move but we were trying to save money and it cost us so much more. We realize these were unusual circumstances but the fact that they discounted our bill 1/2 hour when their men got lost for one hour along with not working because he got sick just seemed extremely unfair and costly at our expense.
