......We were trying to respond in company owner field but we didn’t find how to do that….. and didnt receive the anser how to do that from Moverreviews.com customer service... so we are responding here…..
Dear David Walters!
First of all your move was a local same day delivery move ( so we don’t know why you put 5 days as a total move time from pick-up to delivery), and you was on the hourly rate. Your quote was $260.00 for 2 men & a truck for 3 hours of work + 1 hour of travel time. At the time of booking you signed a contract, where is says that this is just an estimate (document on file), and our representative told you that it’s could be more, because we dint actually see your stuff and locations.
You moved from 1 bedroom large apartment on the 1-st floor ( 1 flight of stairs , about 10-15 steps) to apartment on the 4-th floor (NO ELEVATOR) , couple buildings away. This is the main reason why your move took longer.
Also, based on information you provided we send you 16 ft truck (which could feet up to 2 bdr apartment). Our guys did 2 trips with full truck! So, everybody can image how big this 1 bedroom was. Plus, our representative contacted you during the move to see how everything going, and after she found out that your move will take longer, we send to you 3-rd mover ABSOLUTELY at NO EXTRA charge, just to expedite the move.
Plus you got $50 worst of packing supplies for FREE!
Per your review you said you have damaged goods. This is the first time hearing of this.
You signed on the contract that “All goods received in good condition”…. (Document on file).
