These so called movers gave an original estimate of $820.40 but then had my son (a disabled veteran with PTSD) sign a contract with a new total of $4135. My son was unable to get answers because workers English was nonexistent. When I heard of this outrageous amount I checked this company out. I read reviews of delivery being made and the movers demanding more money or they would leave or just dump the goods at the curb. I had visions of my son (with a prostetic leg) trying to handle and knew he was not capable. So I cancelled the move and said I would collect the goods at their warehouse. They moved the goods from Arlington, VA to Rockville, MD, a distance of less than 30 miles. The movers charged $819 for packing materials for a 1 bedroom apt. & a fuel charge of $392. They refused to release the goods until the total amount was paid in cash. They refused to make any adjustment even though they only moved the goods 30 miles. Reputable movers quoted the complete move at $1803.
These guys have DOT numbers (they do not match anything) taped on their trucks (against DOT regulations). Address on contract does not match their location. What they did to a disabled veteran is despicable! File complaints at FMCSA.GOV to get these scammers shut down.
