I set up a move and was upfront that there was to be a glass cover for a table along with the table. They woman was friendly and informed me about the estimate and how it was established: travel time and labor. Labor included 3 men and driving the item from point A to point B. It was the best estimate I received so I verbally hired them. She informed me that there was to be a deposit and she would send an e-mail for electronic signature. i of course thought the signature was for the credit card.
When the company did not show to pick up the item, The woman informed us that we did not sign the electronic signature. I informed them that I never received it. She sent out one and since they were already late, I signed and returned it. When the drivers arrived, (6 men)
They wanted to charge me $150 to bubble wrap the glass table cover or they would not deliver it. I declined the charge and discharged their service. They also only cover loss or damages for items at 60 cents / pound.
I read over what they had me sign and it was not for the credit card. It was an electronic contract that you would NOT have to read thru or review as the signature request is at the top of the form. READ this document. It also says that there is a $100 cancellation fee. I am currently in dispute about paying this fee as they were not upfront about their service or fees.
Beware of this company.
