AWFUL! I was scheduled for a move from 2 pm to 6 pm, the movers were supposed to be at my apt from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. At 9 a.m., I called to confirm and they said yes, they will be at the apt from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. At 2:30, I called to ask if they were on their way. I was told that there was a delay and they would be at my place at 5:00 p.m.! Except the new building closes the freight elevator at 6:00 p.m. I called back and asked for a quicker service, was told there's nothing they could as all of their staff was at a job. 15 minutes later, they called to say they will send out a new crew.who then arrived at...5:00 p.m. Amazing. As the new building wouldn't let me move in, the movers offered to put everything in storage until the next day and then charge me for the loading and unloading to storage and from storage.
Upon arrival, the movers proceeded to "pack" my furniture even though everything was in boxes. They then charged me extra $310 for the "packing".
This is by the far the most God-awful experience I'ever had and aside from the costs, the sheer stupidity as well as the dishonesty of the staff were astounding.
