I have moved 3 times in my life and none of them were a pleasant experience to say the least. I guess with each experience comes a little knowledge and maybe this time I had enough knowledge to get things right when I selected Best Price for this move. I guess it all came at the right time too considering that this is the first long distance move I am making with my new family. I selected this company for a few reasons. 1. Their sales rep. was not overly pushy. Some of the other people who were contacting me were like hungry wolves trying to get my cash. Casey was so calm with me and patiently answered my questions and also filled in the missing gaps of information that pertained to how all this moving stuff works. He really was able to shed some light on how it all goes down and it definitely went hand in hand with the previous experiences I've had and explained a lot as to why I never had a positive moving experience.
2. The second reason I selected this company was because I understood that they were the actual company that was going to be performing my service without the use of subcontractors which kept my cost down significantly.
3. The third reason I selected Best Price was because they were local to me and I was able to physically visit their facility. I like to see who I am making a high dollar transaction with. Especially with all the scams and horror stories I've not only read but experienced myself.
I am happy to report that I am not only pleased with the quality of service that I received at my pickup but unlike previous experiences I was completely satisfied at the delivery as well. My final price was $77 lower than my initial estimate, my things arrived in New Mexico in 7 days, which is 1 day earlier than Casey had estimated and the damages were very minimal, just a couple of scratches here and there. All my glass items were perfectly in-tact. There was no spider webbing on the glass, no cracks, nothing completely broken. So I can tell extreme care was taken with those items. My sofa was as clean as it was in Chicago thanks to the great job of plastic wrapping the crew did. Also all my boxes were accounted for and nothing was lost.
This was really a great overall move and the service was professional from the initial contact through the final signing off at the delivery.
