DON'T DO IT~ IF you need to make a big move....call someone else.
We just used BP to move us from Illinois to California within the last month. The initial sales call was excellent; Denise was very professional and helpful. The pick up was done well and in a timely manner......
IT WAS THE DELIVERY THAT WAS A DISASTER! It took 14 days to deliver our stuff. We sat in an empty place, with NO word form them whatsoever for about 10 days. I called them everyday, and I suggest you do, too.
The HIDDEN fees that are in fine print in the contract at the bottom, are the ones you yourself will have to read carefully, because NO ONE else will go over them with you until you have to pay them! The drivers were not willing to co-operate until I place a call to the dispatcher. (who is also extremely rude)
NOTE: Realize that a 20 foot truck does the pick up, but your stuff is delivered from an 18-wheeler. If it cannot get into your property with ease, (no turns) you can be forced to pay an additional fee up to $585 for a shuttle or if they have to walk more than 75 feet from the truck to your door.
And one more thing.........BOX ALL OF YOUR THINGS YOURSELF! The extra boxes and equipment that they make so available to you, is going to cost you BIG TIME!
Please.....just go with someone else...........please.
