Before using Best Price Moving to make a cross-country move, I had previously utilized several smaller companies to make shorter local moves. Compared to the other companies, Best Price was much more professional and treated my stuff with far greater care.
I interviewed Best Price, EZ Movers, Reebie Moving (Allied) and Five Star Moving before choosing Best Price. All four companies were pretty close in price, but I chose Best Price for a number of reasons. (1) A friend's recommendation on an interstate move she made after graduating college and moving back west. (2) The Sales rep. Joe was friendly and professional. (3) I had special packaging requests for some items, and Five Star didn't seem interested in taking the extra precautions I wanted. (EZ Movers, in particular, seemed intent on cutting every possible corner in order to come up with a competitive price). Additionally, Joe from BP provided several boxes and packaging materials, all free of charge.
Logistically, the move wasn't a straight-forward one, because the old house sold before buying a new one. Therefore, all the stuff had to be placed in storage until there was a new house to move the stuff to. Best Price handled this request without any problems, I evened followed the trucks to get weighed and witness my items go into the storage crates. The only potential problem was that they arrived at the new house on closing day (the earliest they are supposed to arrive is the day after closing). It wasn't a problem, but it could have been a problem if there had been a delay in closing.
There were no lost items, and they seemed to take very good care of everything they moved (especially compared to previous movers that I've used). Some stuff the crew packed, and some stuff I packed--all of it arrived without damage. Perhaps they took better care because I signed up for the insurance who knows, however it was worth the additional money, for the peace of mind.
They delivered everything in good condition, as promised. And everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I don't expect anything more from a moving company, so I was very pleased with these guys.
