I was researching moving companies for my move; I came across the moving experts. They were very professional and Danielle was an angel to me on the phone. Everything was great including an amazing price, but there were some issues with the integrity of the company. They loaded me up with a bunch of lies. Danielle told me that The Moving Experts is an actual moving company and gave me their USDOT number. It came up not found; instead it was a motor carrier license for a broker! Their contract states I would pay what the carrier charges, and the carrier would be Elite Moving & Storage. The moving experts claimed to be carrier yet they have no trucks according to the United States Department of Transportation. I later found out on movingscam.com that the moving experts are known for lying and fraud! When I called Danielle back to ask her about what information I found, she said they were all not true, and then she proceeded to transfer me to the owner of the company Ira. Ira tried to persuade me that the USDOT doesn’t updated there information, but the website clearly stated it was updated the week before. Then she tried to sell me with a satisfactory Better Business Bureau record. She emailed a link to their BBB Reliability page with no complaints; instead I went to the Main BBB page and found 21 complaints instead failure to perform according to contract. This is one company I will not do business with.
