When my Son had moved to Chicago four years ago in order to attend Depaul University as a Freshman, my wife and I decided on trying to save a little money by renting a Uhaul trailer and hitching it to the back of my truck and just loading as much as we could that way. It sounds like a great idea at first but man was it a lot of work. First, the trailer was crooked. We drove about 20 miles and noticed it was shaking pretty heavily. We had to stop at the nearest Uhaul and take everything out of the trailer we had and transfer it into a new trailer. Talk about a pain in the neck! We finally got to Chicago after what seemed like the longest drive of my life because if we drove over 60 the trailer would shake too much. Long story short, when my son graduated this year, we knew we needed to go the alternative route and hire a company to do everything for us. We went to vanlines.com and put our information in their system and the very next day we got a call from Best Price. They are located in Chicago which worked out perfectly for us and they were able to do all the packing and loading. My son was happy about all this because he didn’t have to worry about packing his things during finals week. All he had to do was be there to let the movers in and everything was delivered 5 days later. This was worth every penny in order to not have to worry about breaking my back to get everything packed and driving with that awful Uhaul trailer. If I were you, I’d avoid the rental hassle all together and go with a moving company such as Best Price Moving. Great Job!
