Trying to set up a move with Beefcake moving and storage was the hardest thing I ever had to do. The woman over the phone clearly had no idea about how the moving business works. She kept offering me a lot of things but she never offered me insurance. That should have been my first sign but I urgently needed to move so I just became their pawn. I later realized that these guys are not even a legit company. The movers were dressed in plain clothes and their truck didn’t even have any logo on it. I was dead scared leaving my possessions in their hands. As I expected, many of my properties were lost and damaged along the way. Because the company doesn’t offer insurance, there was nothing I could do but pay them a huge amount which is almost twice as much as their original estimate. Illegal companies like this one are taking advantage of poor customers and I urge people to go to the police.
