Beacon Moving moved my family and I to Seattle, WA on Feb 3rd, 2015. Their complete services surpassed my initial expectations. I wasn't really comfortable giving someone all my items to move originally I was planning to move myself with a rental truck from Uhaul, but after getting all the estimates and running the numbers it didn't make sense to pay all that money to move everything I owned with a rental truck. The cost for doing that kind of move myself was coming out to be the same if I hired a mover which to me made no sense but I now after doing everything with Beacon and them explaining to me how things worked I can now make sense of it. Moving companies consolidate their loads so it's cheaper for the consumer and the company. I realized that my stuff was going to be shipped cross country with other people's things so I wanted to make sure I got everything fully packed and wrapped before they took it out of my house and on the truck. Moving day came and 4 guys showed up from Beacon with a 26FT moving truck. They packed, wrapped, crated and moved all my things on to their truck safely without any throwing or dropping. I was told delivery could take up to 21 business days but was reassured it would most likely only take about 14 days on average. It actually only took them 15 total days from pickup to drop off to get my things to me in WA from FL. After carefully looking everything over and making sure all the items were there they unloaded all my stuff into the parts of the house I requested and reassembled everything for me as well. They really did a great job with making sure nothing was broken or rushed to finish they really took their time and I appreciated that so I took care of the guys with treating them to lunch... Beacon Moving was great and made ever effort to easy my fears about moving in general with a mover. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants an honest hard working company who really cares about their customers needs first and foremost over their own profits.
