Bailey's gave me the lowest quote and poundage out of 5 movers. We were moving a small 4 bedroom ranch from CO to MO. Boxes were packed by us. I asked the salesman what would happen if our weight went as high as some of the other estimates (about 1000 pounds more) and percentage wise he said that'd be covered and wouldn't be charged extra. We included a pool table in our move and had a 3rd party through Allied take care of that. Salesman was on time unlike all the other movers and didn't harrass me weekly which was nice.
Follow-up with the "coordinator" wasn't as good as experience as with the salesman. Didn't call back as promptly as I'd like but was he was nice and polite so I followed up with him whenever I had questions or wanted to confirm times or dates.
Moving date was pushed back to a Saturday morning instead of Friday which was disappointing but worked out. The driver (Scott) and crew were awesome. Everything was loaded in 4 hours and they let me clean around them. They were careful with everything - even our cheap furniture. They took extra care with the few special items I marked out and even moved a couple large mirrors that I didn't have in boxes. Everything was delivered the following Tuesday morning. Delivery day was hot and humid so I don't blame them for not wanting to put a few shelves back together that they took apart in CO although that would've been nice. There are a couple minor scratches and my husband's old old pressed board dresser has a broken board, but out of everything that is minor. Sent in my claim form today so we'll see where that goes. I got the extra insurance protection so we'll see what they say.
Good people - I'd use them again.
