Paid them for a move from Maryland to California- they ended up charging DOUBLE the amount quoted by adding on hidden fees. Movers were rude and unprofessional. Called the owner and he berated and insulted me. They have a "D-" from the Better Business Bureau. They ended up holding all of my items hostage for three days and demanding that I pay them double the price that they quoted me or I would not get my stuff. I have contacted the state attorney general to get them shut down for this- but in the interim I want to warn everyone to stay away from this company at all costs. I am a real customer of BR movers (unfortunately) and had them hold my items hostage in demand for 2x what the original cost estimate was supposed to be. Please avoid this moving company.
