I went with BR Movers for my move within the District of Columbia after filling out an online request form. Little did I know that a 100 movers were going to call me. And call me...and email...and call some more. Some of them were nice but most of them were just plain rude. I don't know how business is done in alot of places but here, no one wants to be called so many times a day and then yelled at and pressured into moving with a certain company. That's why when I spoke with Jennifer I was pleasantly surprised. She didn't call me everyday and whenever I told her I wasn't ready yet she just said "no problem!" so no pressure - which was nice. She took her time in answering all of my questions and recording all of my information. That is why I chose BR Movers. Now this is why I would choose them again - the movers arrived on time and seemed normal enough. I liked that they weren't day labor and presented themselves in BR Movers attire. They got right to work looking everything over. The leader of the crew explained all the paperwork and let me know that my glasstop table would have to be packed (I forgot to tell the rep that my table was glass) so I paid for those materials and about 30 minutes extra of labor time. So the estimate was right on point! I appreciated the simplicity of all the aspects of my move thanks to BR Movers!
