I will give them one thing, they were on time to pack us up. I called about 5 weeks prior to our scheduled move date to change the address, moving to Fort Belvoir. If you have any common sense, you would guess right that is a military installation. When they arrived I was told that I had to pay $6 per roll of tape they used, I said I have several rolls here can't you use them?? NO, was the answer. FAIL number one...After that I was asking them if they just wanted to follow me to the destination and that I would have to take them to a specific gate since they didn't have a military ID. I got the most dumb-founded look ever. The guy then said, "we might have a problem now!" I asked him why, he then told me he was the only one in the group of three that had a form of identification with them! Really? My first thought was who doesn't carry a ID with them? Second thought, (after knowing they were immigrants to the U.S) where are their green cards? I know personally (because I'm married to an immigrant) that they should carry their green card with them at ALL times, because that is what USCIS instructs them to do! The lead guy called his "manager" who said they wouldn't be able to deliver our things to the destination until tomorrow! To make sure of this, because he offered to fax their ID's to the base, I had to call the base security and make sure there was NO way they could get on base that day. FAIL, they had to have physical, hard proof of identification to be allowed on base. Another problem that I had with these movers is when they first arrived they said they would have to make two trips because the truck wasn't big enough. Well my quote was for a two bedroom apartment, because I know we had a lot of big furniture, and the fact we only lived in a one bedroom apartment, I figured there wouldn't be a problem! Another issues was the time it took them to pack everything, two hours....are you kidding me? I have packed and moved myself with one other person helping me faster than that. Overall I was VERY unsatisified with this moving comany. I would never recommend them to anyone. Don't waste your money on this company pay a bit of extra money and get a reliable company that doesn't hire illegal immigrants!
