Looking through the reviews here it appears that numerous people have had issues with these con artists. I want to encourage everyone who has had issues with BR movers to call or file a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration at www.1-888-dot-saft.com, or sent using a form on the Web site via mail to FMCSA 400 Seventh St., SW, MC-PA, Washington, DC 20590 or fax 202-366-7298. FOR FOLKS CONSIDERING USING BR MOVERS: HERE IS HOW THEIR SCAM WORKS: They will low ball the quote to get you in and then pack your stuff. They will then claim that you had more than they initially estimated and double the price. By now your stuff is already on the truck and there is nothing that you can do about it...so you are stuck. They will then continue to extort money from you at delivery, demanding outrageous fees for everything from picking things up to unwrapping them. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. PLEASE consumers, protect yourselves. There are a LOT of reputable movers out there. Utilize the Better Business Bureau website (BR Movers rates a "D-") and do not utilize anyone with less than a "C". I was conned by these people. You don't have to be. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
