BLUE LINE VAN LINES

It took over 7 weeks for them to move my things from Florida to California. My belongings were in storage in Georgia for over one month because they could not find a driver coming west. My things were initially picked up on July 17 by someone working for jetBlue Van Lines (same company) and he immediately demanded $1000 more, saying that I had more stuff than originally claimed (untrue). After bickering for an hour, I ended up having to pay an additional $750 because otherwise I would have lost my initial $500 deposit. I received my belongings on Sept 6 however there were 2 boxes missing along with an end table. Not to mention boxes that were smashed and items broken. The truck driver who delivered my things does not work for Blueline. Thus, this company does not have their own trucks. They seem to be working like brokers. They also damaged my motorcycle seat which was cracked. It appears they rested items or boxes on the seat. I now have a claim against the company with MovingClaim.net. While I am asking for $3,700 in damaged/missing items, it remains to be seen what I will be offered.
