When our daughter got pregnant, my wife decided it’s time to move closer and be with our kids and grandchildren. That meant several moving rounds, all in one year. We did a few of the loads by ourselves using U-Haul but the more serious stuff obviously needed the help of pros. We ended up hiring B52 and were offered a long term contract, agreeing to use their service several times with approximate dates. we would give them a call two or three weeks in advance and set a date (we had previously listed ALL of our belongings and they gave us a flat rate per foot so any adjustments need to be made are kept within a reasonable rate). They did their job well and we even were given a discount for being reoccurring customers.
As far as the service went they did the great job and I couldn’t believe it at first. So many things and so little time but they were able to move everything fast and without damaging the fragile things. I had several antique pieces quite large all which needed to be moved at times as we went along – our teams (yes we had one for each pickup) stood guard and at no point did we suffer any sever loses or damage.. we were very please after the first load and felt we did the right choice using the B52 people. Some unpredictable “hitch” did happen on our third pickup, the van got stuck in traffic for four hours. it meant spending night in a hotel and paying extra money. The guys contacted me and explained the problem; they assured us to go on and not to worry about the things as they would bring them as soon as possible. so with a slight delay they drove all our things and we were offered a discount for our inconveniences.
