I saw great reviews on Atom Moving and was excited to find a company that sounded good and was also fairly inexpensive. But I was very disappointed to find out how unprofessional Atom Moving is. Don't be tricked by their great reviews. It was my first "moving across country" experience and they seemed to be very willing to help at first and answered all my questions, but they didn't communicate effectively to me how long it would take for me to receive my stuff. I shipped my stuff off early in hopes that it would arrive when I did. Because of my working circumstances I needed to have my house set up with in the week that I arrived. They did not tell me until moving day that they wouldn't even think about shipping my stuff until my move in day unless I wanted to find storage on my own and pay for it on the other end. But then they didn't even start shipping my stuff until 2 weeks after I had moved in to my new place.
The contract mover they used was friendly and helpful, but would not let me look at the list of boxes (I asked him 2 or 3 times) to make sure he pulled out all the right boxes. And in the end I had two boxes that weren't mine and I am still missing 2 of my boxes.
Now...I realize that I could have asked more questions to make sure I was clear on how everything worked, but the worst part about Atom Moving is I wrote the primary contact, Nir, multiple e-mails asking him questions about when my stuff might get shipped and if there was anything that could be done about the long wait and I still haven't heard from him or the secondary contact to date (a couple months later). I am very dissatisfied with Atom Moving's unprofessional demeanor.
