This sales group at Assurance Van Lines indicated I would receive "white glove" packing and moving. The drivers of the Eazy Moving, Corp., the movers Assurance Van Lines contracted, held my property "hostage" until I paid them an additional $950.00. My property was received water damaged, broken and missing. The packers literally "dumped" my items in boxes which were trash upon receipt due to the poor packing and severe water damage. I actually had 2-inches of water in some of my storage containers.
My "BINDING ESTIMATE" of $2275 was SO COMPLETELY INACCURATE. I ended up forking out over $5000 before these movers would begin unloading my water-soaked property in the rain.
When I tried to contact each company, BOTH companies had extremely RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL females handling my call, When I asked to speak to the Manager, Mark Lopez, I was told I was lying about my service, got hung up on and was NEVER able to contact either company. They have NOT replied to email inquiries either. These two companies are COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.
