Terrible moving experience with Assurance.

Moving with Assurance Van Lines was the worst moving experience I''''ve had. It took a full three weeks from the expected move-in date to get my stuff, and I was routinely lied to about the date of delivery. Nobody answered the phone when I called, and my messages were never returned. After calling once an hour for several days I would finally get through to someone who would tell me my things would arrive in a day or two. Three weeks later it arrived the night before I was going out of the country for two weeks, at 9pm. This was, of course, the day before they would legally have to start giving me money back for late delivery. Assurance doesn''''t even handle delivery - they farm out the actual work to other companies, so there is not guarantee that they will be any good. The price of Assurance seemed competitive, but there is no way that every reasonably priced moving company has service this terrible.
