I did not even hire the Apartment Movers to move my things. I went online and used several websites to ask for a quote depending on my move date, number of items, etc. I hired another company (Reasonable movers) who contacted me several times before my move date to confirm and who were very nice. Instead, on the day of my move, the Apartment Movers showed up at my door an hour before the moving company I had actually hired was expected to show up. Not knowing that they were not the company I had hired, I let them move my belongings. They did not confirm the price with me until all my things had already been moved to the new apartment and the company I had hired called me wondering where I was since they were at the old apartment knocking on my door and couldn't get in. DO NOT EVEN ASK FOR A QUOTE FROM THESE PEOPLE. They scammed a decent company out of their money, broke my bookcase in transit, and then told me it would take at least 30 days for them to give me the money back for my broken bookcase. I found out that I am not the only person this has happened to. These people will steal your information when you ask for a quote, and steal a move from other decent companies to benefit themselves. If you are looking for a moving company in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area, go with Reasonable Movers.
