AMS is a broker. They assigned "Two Men and a Truck" to pick-up and deliver my stuff. The two men (Rae and Phillip, out of Atlanta, GA) did a wonderful job of packing our stuff. Only issue was at the end of the night when they refuse to load our loose stuff into the truck, mainly out of fear of losing their jobs if anything were to happen to our stuff. We had to run to a store to grab boxes. Items arrived on time and even sooner than expected, they estimated up to 2 weeks and I got my stuff in 5 days. Our stuff came in the exact same condition it left in. They were fast and very accommodating on the unloading and moving furniture in the new apartment. I would only recommend you use Rae and Phillip if you get assigned Two Men and a Truck.
I called several moving companies and AMS was a reasonable quote. They did not do an in home estimate so everything was just quoted from a list of items. We ended up being almost 3000 lbs over estimate. Even with the overage, the total cost was still less than other moving companies. They were upfront with all their fees. I would use them again.
