Although Eric was always available by phone and the service was completed on time I was shocked at the condition of most of my belongings after they had been unloaded. Most of the damage was due to crushing. When they opened the truck, which was not the same truck they loaded it in, All of my stuff was so wedged in they had a hard time getting the first piece out. I packed everything myself with the exception of two tall garmet boxes the movers packed and which I was charged for. These boxes had stand up lamps, lamp shades and garden pots. Of all of the boxes they had been the most crushed. The sides were all crumpled. All of the shades had been crumpled one of them had a hole in it. I had glass covered watercolors that I had backed in a blanket and bubble wrap with fragile written all over it and it was busted also the same for a 100 year old mirror. My big leather chair is damaged from being crushed as well with wrinkles in the overstretched leather and pock marks from the corners of things poking it. The movers had put a blanket around it. They handed me the contents of tax records I had packed in a plastic stackable tub in a garbage bag with the excuse that some things had fallen out. I still cant find all my tax records and there is a box missing. Some of my stuff had been repacked because different things were in different boxes. I also have a suitcase from someone from Phoenix with my stuff!!! I complained to Eric and it has been over a week since he said he would get back to me.
I wouldn't let them move anything really valuable and be prepared for everything to be pressed together
