Failed to deliver on sales promises

Paid extra to get a Sunday pickup. Instead they came on Saturday. Salesman promised delivery within one week with possible delays only if there was a weather problem. Delivery was in the summer so there were no weather issues. Instead my furniture remained in chicago for more than 17 days before they actually began to drive to New York for delivery. Meanwhile, all emails and phone calls were unanswered and they refused to give any estimate of when I might get my furniture, causing me tremendous inconvenience. The packers and movers were good people, but then again it's probably because they don't work directly for american van lines.
