Horrible Experience

Company agreed to accept a credit card from my new employer since this move was part of a relocation. They accepted it for the initial deposit, but hired a third party to move my goods who did not accept credit cards, and both companies then refused to accept the card after my goods were in transit. Customer service misquoted my total several times requiring my new employer to cut several different checks. The final price was almost $1300 than the quote. The AVL third party was supposed to deliver my goods on a Friday and told me I had to be there. They did not deliver my goods until the following Tuesday and I had to spend that time in an empty house. AVL Customer Service was rude and worthless (they had no idea where my goods were during those 5 days and especially didn't know when they would be delivered). I had to start my new job a day late on Tuesday because I had no belongings and had to go shopping the day before to buy clothes, then they called me at 10:00 AM and said my goods would be delivered in 30 minutes and I had to race home. AVL refused to pay anything for the inconvenience and would not accept any responsibility. I even sent a request for additional compensation and the company never responded. This was the worst experience I've ever had with any company EVER. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
