**SCAM ARTISTS****BROKER****AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE****LIARS******I chose AVL - WRONG CHOICE- for my move from Chicago to Ill. I was constantly told "Our drivers", "Our movers", "our trucks" . These peple are brokers - they are ONLY interested in scamming people out of their money. I was given a 'guaranteed not to exceed' estimate that WAY EXCEEDED by more than $2500.00. I based my move to allow me to be at my new home everyday of my delivery window prior to starting my new job. I was told Oct 4-10. It is the 15th, I started my job on the 11. I STILL HAVE NO DELIVERY OF MY BELONGINGS. I have asked for a reduction of my final payment to allow for the expenses I have incurred due to my belongings not being deivered on time. Iam told "We will get back to you" - I have head NOTHING...Meanwhile I talk to the carrier BES PRICE MOVING AND STORAGE IN CHICAGO IL and they are still requesting the total amount due before they will unload the truck.. I am not allowed to wait until I am satisfied with the delivery and the condition of my belongings. I have no idea if or when I will EVER get my possessions. NOONE WILL TALK TO ME NOONE WILL ADDRESS MY CONCERNS I GET TOLD "NO PAYMENT - NO DELIVERY" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RECOURSE I was also told to file a claim with the carrier. AVL gave me a number THAT DOES NOT WORK. They are LIARS they will CHEAT you DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE
