Hi
I was moving on a budget, and so accepted the lowest offer on my email-even though I read the reviews that now closely match my experience (comments marked with ** are common complaints about this mover)
1. my cost was almost 1000$ more than what was actually estimated on the phone, using my inventory **
2. Pick up was by the company truck, but the delivery was on a rental truck (Budget rentals).** And surprisingly the driver was the same
3. Boxes were bashed up, my $1000 leather sofa was torn, my $500 dresser was broken.**
4. On top of that, the driver called me a liar and said that i had shipped a torn sofa and a broken dresser- clearly against what he himself had written on the inventory sheet.
5. finally after multiple calls, claims and about 2 months- i have been offerd a settlement on about $100.
I do not write reviews very frequently, but I am writing this one only in the hope that others will not fall prey to this company...
Ah one more thing.... Randy the rep. who used to call me every other day before the booking will not pick his phone up after you have booked your move**...
