Many months ago I contacted American Home Movers to come out for an in home estimate. When the guy showed up and started to explain the move process I thought he was trying to pull a fast one on me. The price he gave me was so much higher than the other companies and everything he told me I thought was a lie. I called one of the less expensive companies and on the day of the move they tried to triple the price of the move. I realized than that the estimator was telling me the truth and even though I didn't like him at first I now know he was being very honest and I should have just used American Home Movers in the first place.
I called them back and asked them to come out again as I had sold some of my furniture and wanted to get a current list of items to move and the cost. The same guy came out and did his thing and gave me a price that did not go up at all on the day of the move. They did exactly as he said they would and everything was just as I expected. I really need to thank the estimator and apologize for thinking he was trying to trick me. He really was just giving me a real and honest price. I can't thank him enough.
