What seemed to me to an uncomplicated move became complicated because my household goods were in storage and of the 3 bids I accepted (one from a major van lines co., American Choice, and a 3rd Northern CA co.), all but American were completely put off. They don't know what's packed, who packed, it, etc. Insurance was a nightmare, and finally, getting a "DO NOT EXCEED" bid was impossible except for American, even with a visual inspection and a pretty detailed inventory I provided. the storage facility made long van accessibility impossible. I didn't want my stuff off loaded, loaded, off loaded or anything that would create over-handling. American solved that and sent two trucks that worked perfectly, loaded, drove it straight to S. CA and all was received within 24 hours.
Gordon Munson did a great job-professional, timely follow-up, very detailed. Pricing was competitive; all issues addressed and handled. The crew that picked up and delivered were very professional, hardworking, and careful. They solved a dozen problems my new place created with certain pieces of furniture's accessibility very well. Communication was excellent. 100% satisfied.
