My movers came 1 whole day late for pickup because they were cited by highway patrol. They were not "resting" enough. I would expect a licensed and bonded company to know and follow these rules and to not make any arrangement without taking these factors into account.
They DID NOT deliver on the promised date. In fact, when they did not show up, they did not bother to contact me to let me know that they would be late. Nobody at the company was there to even answer the phone. It wasn't until 2-3 days later that some dispatcher called me to tell me they were delivering. No apologies or anything.
They said they would compensate me for the delay after "speaking to the manager" but of course, they never did. Absolutely poor customer service. A delay caused by the drivers being pulled over by the cops is not an excuse!!!
