This company hooks you with low quotes, then makes their money by charging exorbitant fees for packing materials which they force you to use. The quote includes blanket wrapping of furniture, but the movers insisted on using cardboard and tape to "crate" my coffee table and HD LCD TV so they could over charge for these materials. For example, I was quoted $296 to move a 1 BR apartment and they ended up charging me $1096 when it was all said and done, to move a 1BR apartment to less than 4 miles away.
It gets better. They damaged the hardwood floors in my new place by sliding a metal footed sofa across it. They refused to deduct the $100 deposit I had already paid from the bill at the end. They also tried to charge me $88 per hour, after they quoted me $74.
Stay away from this company. I find their practices to be dishonest and unprofessional. Calls to complain about the damages incurred to my property were referred to a third party on the East coast, and they refused to deduct anything from the total.
