DO NOT ever use Allways/Allstar moving company a.k.a. valpack coupon guys for moving. They quoted me $180 total for the move and then charged me $350. As if that's not enough, they tried to call back and collect another $118.00, which kept us on the phone for another hour with the manager of the company.
The coupon we used did not say anything about charging us time the company spent to get to our apartment from their office. The original quote said our time started when the movers got to our door, approximately $180 total. They tried to charge over $100 for the 'travel time' simply to get to our apartment from their office. They also charged us over $50.00 for gas, and a $40 handling fee, which we were NEVER told about in advance. Our move ended up costing twice as much as planned for because of hidden fees that they never told us about in advance.
