Allied Van lines

I was very disappointed in their services. initially I had booked with budget Van lines and call just to do a comparison quote to Allied Van lines because, I was tight on money. The booking associate was very nice and informed me that they had bad reviews on their services. So I canceled with Budget Van Lines and booked with Allied Van lines. I was set to leave February 3rd or the 4th. The moving day came nobody called me the time passed by the end of the day I called them. The day prior I had taken both my kids out of school received their transcripts. The house was packed and we were ready to go dad had flown down just to give us a hand. I paid my deposit. When called and informed them that nobody had shown up. They were surprised to hear that the driver had not called me and stated the driver overbooked in New Orleans and there was no room on the truck for my stuff and they didn't have any drivers in the area. Because I had already drop my children from school it would take a week to get them back in school. So I kept them out hoping that they would find a driver within a day or so. That was not the case they stated they had no drivers in the area and didn't know when they would have a driver in the area. So it was a waiting game! Two or three days past and no call backs were given stating that they had a driver for my staff. I called one last time the booking agent suggested that I Book with Budget Van Lines which was the original company I booked for and left for them. Budget Van lines was able to get me a driver out within the week! So if anybody asked me if I would refer Allied Van lines the answer would be absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!
