Will Not Honor Insurance Claim

I used Allied for an interstate move from NM to TX. Altogether the move was $3,500 including $300 for extra insurance coverage. This was the best and most expensive coverage.
I filed a claim because several items were damaged and they will not honor it! Beware!!! They sold me a $300 coverage option and will not pay for a claim!
This is their insurance policy:
"If a box is not noted as damaged at the time of receipt, then we will not pay for its contents."
This is the complete opposite of what I was told by the salesman!
Essentially, you have to go through all of your boxes before signing off as having received your stuff and completed your move. If not, they assume no responsibility for its contents, even though the salesman told us we had nine months to go through our stuff and file a claim!
I will never use them again.
