On Sept 16, 2011 Allied took possession of my household property to move it from Upstate New York to Tennessee. A tolal of seven employees were involved in our move. There were four in New York and four in Tenn. The driver was the same for both the pickup and delivery. I had a large plastic office water jug over half filled with mostly quarters. It was very heavy. When our property arrived in Tenn. some it had been damaged (which I did not complain about) and quite a few items they disassembled in New York were not reassembled in Tenn (which we did not complain about). I gave every employee a tip and bought them lunch at both locations. In Tennessee, when we asked the driver where the coin jug was he advised he did not know. He recorded the stolen money jug on our receipt and he left. We filed a claim with Allied and we reported the grand larceny and expected some reasonable and professional consideration. Bottom line, their so called "Investigator" didnt even call us to ascertain what had happened. We had to call him. Allied a few weeks later sent us a letter advising they would provide us with a $30.00 payment for this theft. They did not stand up to the plate and they simply did not respond to this customer in any way which assimulates any level of professionalism, honesty nor integrity. Allied should be ashamed of themselves. If you are looking for a reputable mover I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. They have a felon working for them and I did not see much of an effort on their part to make this incident right. Their supervisory staff and upper management were obtuse and had no response other than to dodge responsibility and fail to acknowledge any culpability. Not one of them even had the decency to apologize.
