This was a nightmare from beginning to end. I originally spoke to Julian, who convinced me to cancel my existing moving reservation because Alliance was not a broker, Alliance would make sure my stuff was taken care of, and Alliance would get my stuff to Colorado in short order "come hell or high water". Every single thing promised and guaranteed by every employee of this company was a lie.
I got a call at 11pm the night before my move saying their trailer wouldn't fit into the parking lot of my storage unit. I asked if this was going to cost more money, and "Chris" said "it's not going to be a problem". The next morning, they were supposed to show up at 8am - no one showed up until nearly 10am and "Chris" acted like I was the one who was not where I was supposed to be and threatened to take off before they even moved anything. AFTER they had possession of my stuff "Chris" wanted to charge me an extra $500 for the fact that they had to use a smaller truck and use an elevator. I say "Chris" in quotation marks because he 1) wouldn't give me his last name and 2) inadvertently used a DIFFERENT name in some of the messages he left me.
These people then DISAPPEARED with my stuff for five days. It was supposed to go directly from Arizona to Colorado within two days. I repeatedly asked Julian whether this would happen as it was a huge point of my deciding on my mover. He not only promised that my things would arrive on time, but that there would be no additional charges and he specifically said that I would "NOT get ripped off". What a crock.
On the SEVENTH day, I found out that all my stuff had been in Las Vegas for who knows how long. On the EIGHTH day, I finally heard from them again. No one at this company was able to tell me where my stuff was for nearly a week. And Julian, who was so excited to take my reservation? Never answered the phone again. When my stuff finally arrived, it was dropped off by a guy who didn't even work for this company.
Lie 1: The company that delivered my stuff is not the one that picked it up
Lie 2: They were late in picking my stuff up by hours
Lie 3: They were late in dropping me off, by DAYS
Lie 4: They took horrific care of my belongings. I have broken TVs, chairs, family heirlooms
Lie 5: They were NOT accountable to my questions as to the condition of my stuff or where it even was!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... they will lie, steal your money, and break your stuff.
