I now know the difference between a good mover and a scam company. Allegiant van lines performed my move. The main this was to ensure I was delivered in a certain window. Julian was my sales rep and he explained to me that the DOT gave companies up to 21 days to deliver. This was NOT and option. I have 2 little boys and I could not risk them sleeping on the floor. I trust Julian when he said he would do his best to delivery me within 1 week. I reserved with Allegiant for many reasons, price, contracted dates and my research on this company. I said to myself should I NOT get delivered within a reasonable time from I will go to the end of the Earth to see that this company is shut down. I am not the one to mess with especially when it comes to my kids. Well, guess what the day of delivery my truck was still 4 days away. I was so upset I started to shake. I called Julian and he told me DO NOT worry, he made a call and to my suprise I spoke to an Alicia (Apparently) the owner and she asked me for my exact location and reserved a hotel in my name for my family and I until the truck was delivered, I was FLOORED. This company stepped up to the plate and took responsibility and put us in a hotel at NO charge. This is the difference between a scam company and a good company, Julian explained that there are things out of their control but as a reputable mover they do compensate each and every customer. Needless to say I received my stuf yesterday and was in a hotel for 5 days at their expense. I just wanted to thank Allegiant, I truly believe no other company would have done this. Not to mention the movers were also great, no damages and very profesional. Steve Burl.
