This is an honesty review from a customer that almost had a HORRIBLE move BUT I must admit Allegiant Van Lines came through in the clutch. I felt compelled to write this review because of the customer service and follow through that this company had with the way the handled my move.
I reserved the move with Julian based on how informative, honest and professional he was with me, he answered all my questions and then answered all my wifes questions. His answers seemed honesty in comparison to our research and their competitors. Their price was right in the middle and within our budget.
The day of the move the movers were on time, GREAT set of workers and everything started out smooth, only one big problem. The truck was to BIG for our development and we had to shuttle our items from our home to the tractor trailer, there was NO choice and the move took longer then expected but it was necessary. Once everything was loaded there were a few items that I didnt know how to pack that Allegiant packed for me (I figured these were part of the estimate).
Make a long story short when the movers arrived a day late to my house on the other end I realized that I had provided them with the wrong address and this was completely my fault BUT they wanted to charge me for a shuttle of $350 dollars and for $500 in packing. I was outraged and immediately called Julian and expressed my concern (Not in a polite manner). I was amazed at how calm Julian handled the situation by asking to speak to the carrier and authorization to waive on fees. He then got back on the phone and spologized and mentioned that these items should have been disclosed to him before services were rendered and to please disregard. I couldnt believe it. Any other company in possesion of my items would have gave me a discount at least, Allegiant simply took care of me. It is worth me writing this review which is why I decided to.
Delivery went smooth and I must admit all my items are intact. I paid a little less than quote, People everywhere, potential movers reading this review. Allegiant is an honest company with integrity. I would recommend this company to family, friends and any one simply looking to move.
My hat goes off to Allegiant and its TEAM of movers.
