This company changed their name from Northern Van Lines because the BBB gave Northern Van Lines an F rating and removed their accreditation due to many consumer complaints that were not answered and/or resolved. I called the Northern Van Lines phone number and was told that Allegiant "bought" Northern Van Lines and that is why the phone numbers remained the same. Really? This is a broker that will try to find random drivers to move your belongings. If they can't, all your belongings are thrown in a storage unit rental where it sits for days, weeks, months. My estimate is higher than cost because we found our son's belongings in a rental unit and retrieved them. He paid $1600 to have them moved 8 miles down the road and thrown in a rented storage unit. Read the reviews on Northern Van Lines. Julian was the "salesperson" who handled my son's move. TERRIBLE! All the good reviews are fake. Notice after a couple bad reviews, there's a lot of good reviews. Hmmmmm.......it's the employees making up good reviews. Believe the gentleman with the broken piano. That's how this company operates.
