Been in Military 25 years, I have moved over 15 times. I know moving usually the military would handle all the logistics, this time it was up to us. I received 3 quotes, Mayflower, Allegiant Vanlines and Continental Vanlines. I did research on all 3 of these companies, I found out Continental is a broker when they tried to charge me something known as a binding estimate fee. Mayflower wasnt actually Mayflower it was an agent for Mayflower (Or so they said) and Allegiant Vanlines, well, they were the only company that checked out.
I reserved with Julian, I must say that out of all my moves, this move was the best. I know it dounds cliche' but its the Gods Honest truth and we are the type of folks that we give credit where credit is due. I have a lot of nice furniture, foreign German Shrunks, oriental dividers, Russian Wine racks/bars, italian leather furniture. Things I have collected over the many years of traveling. Allegiant Vanlines performed an excellent job, now, I did pay a little more in packing but it was fair.
Julian was there the entire time, he even called me from his car on his way home to let me know that he got some information on my delivery. He was very upfront and honest with me. The movers were GREAT, strong young guys. Alex the foreman was very professional and he knew how to make sure things were protected to avoid the dents and dings that going long distance can cause.
All in All, this move was GREAT. My HAT goes off to Julian and his team for their commitment to moving. I am NOW in Florida, retired and ready to start my NEW LIFE with my grandkids, thank you Allegiant for making what now a days seems like a VERY stressful process, simply easy.
Thank you GUYS!
