All State is NOT an accredited mover.
All State is NOT even a moving company. They are a broker.
All State engages in deceptive business practices. After charging a 50% deposit (higher than any reputable moving company would charge), they waited till I was inside their assigned "5-day cancellation window" and then proceeded to call me several times a day demanding more money, always different people, wanting different methods of payment. I luckily was smart enough to cancel even at risk of losing my deposit because I knew that if they got my furniture on their truck, I wouldn't see it again unless I paid an exorbitant sum well over the estimate they quoted me. I was lucky enough to find a BBB accredited business that were able to move me with less than 24 hours notice from New Hampshire to Maryland. This company only took a 10% deposit and when I told them that All State took 50% they just said "yeah, that's a classic broker move. No proper moving company would do that." These people have been HORRIBLE to work with and have made an already stressful time even more so. This was my own stupid fault though, I didn't check their reviews before I got into business with them.
