I would not recommend All Services Movers to my worst enemy. I have had three separate moves from Missouri to Florida of roughly the same volume / weight over the last two years. I have had nothing but praise for the first two movers and nothing but aggravation with All Services Movers.
After receiving a binding estimate from them and paying an initial deposit I got a phone call from one of their associates who was involved in initial discussions with me to say that they were going to return my deposit arguing that they could not possibly do the move for the price that was quoted to me. I contacted the person who had sent me the quote only to find out that there was internal fighting over the commission for the job and some unhappy members of the team were ready to drop the business altogether rather than miss out on the commission. This in and of itself was a hint of the unethical mindset at least some members of All Services Movers can demonstrate. Because I was already committed and was running out of time I decided to pursue the move with them.
The picking and loading of the goods was somewhat uneventful and contributed to alleviate my apprehension for then. However things started turning sour again when our shipment arrived in Florida. Both the driver and some manager in their office strongly insisted in receiving the balance of the payment in cash before starting to unload. In an earlier call they indicated that even a banker's check would not be acceptable. I told the manager on the phone that this was unheard of and plain unacceptable. I had shown the driver the cash and told him that he would get it as soon as the job finished. The manager threatened me over the phone to give the driver instructions to leave right away and auction my belongings if do not hand out the cash before the start of unloading. I therefore had to reluctantly proceed as I was told.
Then when the unloading started I had little cooperation form the unloading team to ensure that boxes were put in the right room even though most if not each box had clear markings to that effect. The majority of the boxes even though marked fragile or very fragile with indication of contents such as glass or china were unbelievably crushed showing that they had been moved around carelessly several times. Many items were broken (dozens compared to none or a handful in the previous moves). Finally they refused to collect the packing material of even the items they had packed themselves. In short All Services Movers have done everything they possibly could to cause my dissatisfaction and desire to express it in this review, something I had never done before. And to put this in perspective I will state that I have mad literally dozens of moves in my life both nationally and internationally.
