All Service Movers picked up furniture for a move from Oregon to Maryland. My quote jumped over $900. On 05/14/2014 (a later than scheduled) All Service Movers showed up to my mom's in Florence, Oregon to pick up 8 items to move to Maryland. I was quoted $1768 and was promised as long as those 8 items were the only items put on the truck my quote would not change. Not the case! They broke down my mother’s bed and counted it in pieces as well as her recliner (it comes apart into 2 pieces) they insisted it was 2 recliners. My quote jumped up over $900 even though only the 8 items listed on the invoice were the only 8 items loaded on the truck.
Weeks went by, no furniture. We call and call and it's like talking to a broken record (Kevin Dixon, who claimed he is the one in charge and there is no one above him) he doesn't return calls and only agreed to drop almost $300 off. We were told to send him an email confirming the delivery. Several emails later, nothing from Kevin, several calls to Kevin day after day, never answers his phone and voicemail is full.
Latasha, another one who doesn't return calls. We call her and it’s always I will call you back between 3-5, she doesn't call back and we have to call again. On Friday 06/13/2014 she actually called to give me an ETA telling me my items were being put on the truck from their warehouse on Tuesday 06/17/2014. They never arrived. We called Friday 06/20/2014 and she told us they would be loaded yesterday 06/23/2014. We called again to verify they were in fact loaded, we got the famous "I will call you back between 3-5." Not satisfied with that answer we continued until we got Kevin Dixon again.
Kevin finally gave us the drivers name and number and after several attempts the driver answered and told us it had not even loaded yet. The discount was never sent to the driver and he told me that until he heard from the company that I had to pay what his invoice stated. I again called Kevin and he actually told me to tell the driver to call him! That isn't my job, he contracted that driver. Well, he never called him and 3 days later the driver did call me and told me he would be there on Sunday July 6th and still had not received any communication of a discount. I was furious and called Kevin again and he sent a text to the driver notifying him of the new balance.
The driver did finally arrive with the 8 items on July 6th, nearly 8 weeks after being picked up in Oregon. I was stuck paying a much higher price than quoted and learned a lesson to NEVER use nor recommend this company to anyone.
Please research before hiring a moving company and whatever you do, DON"T use All Services Movers.
