Worst Moving Company. Dishonest and Poor Service

I am sorry I chose this company. The experience was a nightmare from begining to end. They showed up 3 days late for the pickup, and when they did show they brought the wrong size truck (actually a rented Budget truck) and had to come back again another 3 days later, then they CHANGED my moving price estimate after starting to load my furniture by 30%, I called other movers and tried to get out of the contract but no other companies were available, so I was stuck. Management at the company would not return my calls. After they picked up the furniture the real fun started, they promised a 6-9 day delivery, this date changed 3 times, and no one at the company could tell me where my furniture was. The actual delivery was 23 days later on a Saturday night. The driver, JOSE, showed up, and started calling local people to help with the move, 3 young kids showed up 30 minutes later. One of them has problems lifting even light items. I guess I was lied to when the sales rep told me 'we own our own trucks and have employees as movers'. The driver then told me there would be an additiional moving charge of $75 cash, because he had park a block away. The unpacking took 7 hours, the driver never left the truck, and it was only 7 hours because my fiancé and I called all our friends to help. I found out none of the 3 helpers hired had ever moved furniture before, and they were being paid cash by the hour. Not only am I missing items from the delivery including expensive carpets, I caught the driver throwing my items from the truck, he denied this, yet my sofa was cracked, mattresses broekn and full of mud. He refused to move some items into the home, leaving them in the street, told me 'we don't assemble your beds', and it is the customers responsibility to 'clean up the boxes and tape from the street'. At this point, we were furious. I called the main office 5 times, including leaving message for the general manager, Kevin D and the sales rep. No one returned my calls for 5 Days. When I did speak with Kevin, he offered me $100 discount, he has the nerve to say 'we are having challenges in customer service right now, over 70% of our customers are experiencing similar complaints, there is nothing Imcan do!'. SAVE YOURSELF FROM A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE, now I have to spend more of my time filling lost and damaged item claims. THIS company should be put out of business by the DOT!
