I have moved my things to a third world country with less problems. I had to call them the day prior to confirm my move. I was called at 7:45 the morning of and told the truck wouldn't be there until noon. They then arrived at 8:30 only to have to go back and get equipment. They quoted $109 for 3 men (on the contract) but then tried to change my rate to $129 as the men were moving stating a communication error.
I called several companies but was made to believe they could make this move in 3 hours. I had broken and missing items, items left at my previous address which put me behind for 2 days. It took that long for someone to actually do somthing about the those items. They had to dispatch someone to get them and I had to go meet them.
One of the 3 guys working was on his cell phone and I had to get him off of it to ask a question. There is no telling how long he had been out there doing nothing. That was in the first two hours. Worst moving experience ever. I am reporting them to the BBB and our Attorney General's office.
